Abstract :
A method of designing biconical antennas with unequal cone angles with optimised radiating patterns in elevation is investigated. The design formulas are obtained from the simplified results of full wave analysis presented in the literature. The theoretical results are verified with measurements of the fabricated model giving a good agreement.
