Abstract :
We introduce a new mechanism to provide multi-failure survivability based on p-cycles. This mechanism called MFS (multifailure survivability scheme) consists of two stages: off-line centralized calculation and on-line distributed selection. Simulation results show that MFS has high probability to survive multiple failures without adding any extra capacity.
