Abstract :
This paper presents the results of ongoing research related to the development of software for simulating the performance of DS-CDMA communication systems. The software, named CDMASIM, is designed by the authors in Matlab and closely follows specifications of the current IS-95 CDMA standard. At the same time, its modular approach allows the incorporation and testing of new ideas and concepts such as time-space processing using adaptive antennas. The software allows the simulated system´s performance to be assessed in terms of average bit error rate (BER) and results are provided as a function of Eb/No.
