Abstract :
This paper shows the transmit diversity (TD) techniques in applications for communication systems. General classification of the TD techniques for both TDMA and CDMA systems is presented. Some very promising TD techniques are characterized, i.e. code division TD (CDTD) and the time division TD (TDTD). Implementation of the pre-RAKE technique in the TD transmitter is discussed. Some performance analysis is also included.
