Abstract :
The purchase of overseas enterprises by domestic enterprises has become a popular international strategic choice. This area of research, currently being done in various disciplines, has provided an important theoretical support for the internationalization of domestic enterprises. However, Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) between enterprises have not been well understood; either theoretically or practically; and it lacks a comprehensive framework. This paper tries to integrate the research findings of international M&As within the framework of various disciplines and analyzes the existing problems from a integrated perspective, including the acquisition possibilities, acquisition motivations, selection of target firms, governance structures and synergy effects.
