Abstract
This paper describes the use of Sector Boards within IEC to increase the market relevance of standardization work. After a general description of the IEC and of the role of a Sector Board, it uses as an example the most recent of these Sector Boards, Sector Board 4-Infrastructure of Telecommunications Networks, and gives the main results obtained after two years of activity
