In this study, we investigate the possibility to increase the areal capacity up to 35 GB per disc using signal processing for a high density optical storage system mid pulse erasing writing strategy, and evaluate its increasing of capacity while recording and reproducing data on commercialized 50 GB of BD dual layer disc
