Abstract :
This study developed a clothing display system based on design rules. The system was composed of four function modules, namely, model database, storyboard, display design, and screenshot and design process record modules. Realizing these system functions, this study adopted the 3D scene edition and integration, 3D model interactive display, and physical simulation and animation technologies to provide intellectual functions and convenient operation for conceptual design. The functions of the circulation space and flowing route patterns provided strong support for the designers to lay out display space in an effective manner. Moreover, the functions of the storyboard, as well as the screenshot and design process record, can also help designers improve assessment efficiency of the conceptual design to better support interactive clothing display design activities.
