Abstract :
The algorithm of investigations is constructed and calculations of radiation characteristics are performed for the antenna arrays of rectangular radiators with laminated dielectric covering. The influence of mentioned covering on the antenna characteristics is studied. The possibility of constructive synthesis of microstrip antenna arrays with laminated dielectric cover is shown. As an example, four-element antenna array with two-layered dielectric coating is studied. Effect of severe narrowing of the antenna directional pattern in E- plane and broadening in H-plane is discovered.
