  • Abstract
    A new vibration control system, the G-Fall Balancer, was developed to reduce the vibration and noise caused by the imbalance of clothes during the spin-drying stage in a drum type washer/dryer. The G-Fall Balancer employs balance boxes that contain balance liquid placed at the two ends of the spin drum to correct the imbalance in the spin drum, thus reducing vibration. The G-Fall Balancer can reduce vibration by 70% or more.
