Abstract :
In this workshop, we were interested in all aspects of self??adaptive and self??organising mechanisms in socio??technical systems. The workshop consisted of the following three topical sessions, each addressing different perspectives of this exciting research area. In each of these three sessions, a mix of invited and contributed talks, presentations of original research papers as well as open discussion rounds created a varied program as well as an engaging atmosphere. Session 1: Socially??Aware Information and Communication Systems (SocioAware); Session 2: Trust in self??organizing and autonomous systems (TSOS); and Session 3: Computationally Adapted {laws|policies|norms} for Self??Organising Systems (CAOS).
