Abstract
Advanced horticultural system such as a Plant factory can be recognized as a better system in terms of implementing precision technologies in comparison to conventional open-field agricultural systems. Microprecision agriculture has been proposed for use with the advent of greenhouse automation and plan factories. In this paper, the latest research and development of microprecision technologies that include an irrigation system, local temperature control system and active soil moisture control system. An industrial contribution of such a microprecision plant production system is expected in a development of large scale moss production system which is a part of environmental technology. This paper will also discuss microprecision requirements needed for industrial scale moss production.
