Abstract
The advancements in power electronics and real-time control play a significant role in the global industrialization and energy conservation trends of the 21st century. These developments are increasing the use of electrical machines in various applications. In this paper, the Dual Direct Torque Control (DDTC) associated with space vector modulation (SVM) is developed for a Doubly Fed Induction Machine (DFIM) operating in motor mode and supplied by two Voltage Source Inverters (VSIs). SABER software is used to validate the control strategy in a “pseudo experimentation” context. Experimental test results of the DDTC-SVM drive realized in Digital Signal Processor connected with the Field Programmable Gate Array (DSP-FPGA) control system are demonstrated.
