Abstract :
Some equivalences between the cell method (CM) and other methods, like the finite difference in time domain method (FDTD) and the finite elements method (FEM), are proved. In particular the equivalence of the equations arises between CM and electrostatic 3D FEM, between CM and magnetostatic 3D FEM and between CM and FDTD in 3D electrodynamics.
