Abstract :
The human body plays a central role in shaping human interactions with physical world and virtual world. This paper asserts that body-based metaphor thinking is the main type of thinking through the analysis of Chinese philosophy of body. Contrast with the prevailing western viewpoints of embodiment, embodied cognition has some different annotations in view of the chinese philosophy of body. At last, We outline five aspects about embodied interaction to inspire the further research of interaction design, and reflect the role of human experience of temporality and spatiality in the interactive system.
