Abstract
Team oriented, web page design projects were incorporated as a major component of an undergraduate course in computer architecture. The main goal of these projects was to give students an opportunity to perform research on a topic of interest in computer architecture. The students also gained valuable experience by working in teams, and they learned useful web page design skills. This paper gives an overview of the web page design projects, provides strategies and references for helping students to design their own web pages, and discusses lessons learned from these projects.
