The application of the Assembly Data Management Model in manufacturing companies

Assembly Data Management model is proposed based on the product lifecycle management (PLM) system. This model is directed toward manufacturing companies with a large number of similar products organized into product families. This model uses this technology to edit multiple product structures in a single user interface. When this model has been realized and implemented in an auto-company and an electrical company´s mobile department, it reduced the engineer 15-20 percent design cycle.
