Abstract
A novel fast technique for along-track motion parameter estimation of moving targets detected using SAR mode is presented in the paper. The proposed technique is based on the features of Non Iterative Map-Drift (NIMD) technique. Typically NIMD is used as an autofocus technique in classical SAR processing to obtain high resolution SAR images. The main goal of this paper was to extend and test NIMD as a technique for MTI (Moving Target Indication) motion parameter estimation.
