Abstract :
Simulation is an important aspect in oceanic system development. Creating visually intuitive graphical representations of oceanic events aids in system development and technician training. Significant advances in software development environments have made this process of simulation more efficient. This paper illustrates these advances by showing an example of a robust simulation environment developed in Microsoft Visual BASIC
