Abstract :
OCDMA techniques have been studied for potential use in future all-optical communication system because CDMA allows many users to simultaneously access the channel with larger bandwidth. Different types of coding have been analyzed to improve the performance of PPM OCDMA systems. In this paper an orthogonal convolutional coding scheme is analyzed. It has been observed that performance increases by using a more bit shift register. Further various parameters related to improvement of performance of bit error have also been discussed.
