Abstract :
In this paper the efficient magnetic field calculation method for pancake coil using Biot-Savart law is presented. When the magnetic scalar potential (MSP) is used for electro-magnetic problems, the magnetic field arising from the source current has to be analytically evaluated. Because the denominator goes zero inside the conductor where field point and source point coincide, the field evaluation has some difficulties. The suggested method in this paper may overcome this drawback and provides appropriate result
