Abstract :
Automotive electronic systems are distributed systems consisting of a number of electronic control units interconnected with various different bus-systems and operated by a large amount of software. With new features being added to every new generation of cars, these systems get ever more complex. Hence, verification not only at the component level but also at the system level becomes increasingly important. This paper presents a new test suite, termed twTester, dedicated for the system test of automotive electronics using a remote tester approach and presents some use-cases and experiments.
