Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to present the developed graphical user interface (GUI) created in MATLAB for support in education of the subject “Acoustics”. This GUI was developed in order to increase the sufficient amount of the hands-on experience in acoustic measurements and evaluation. This GUI enables student´s simple evaluation of the results of the sound intensity mapping in user-friendly environment. The results of the measurement are clearly represented in sound intensity map, where it is possible to locate the high noise sources of the measured device. The GUI also brings the possibility of future development by changing the source code.
