Abstract :
This report gives a general evaluation on Pro-Engineer, the parametric 3D software, for its usages in industrial design fields, and lists the brief process to simulate machining a digital 3D model with manufacturing module and focuses on optimization of setting the machining tools and working parameters in different steps to promote the machining efficiency and quality for actual manufacture or rapid prototyping in later stages.
