Abstract :
Pervasive Computing is a new emerging computing model. In Pervasive Computing environment, users can get services anytime and anywhere. Conference Information System faces a variety of needs of users, and needs to provide ubiquitous and dynamic services, users can access data via mobile devices. In this paper, the conference information system based on Pervasive Computing is proposed. This system is used in ubiquitous networks, providing users with real-time and dynamic query. Users can query the progress of conference and the current state of papers anytime and anywhere, in addition, through this platform, they can use such universal services as local papers submission and online evaluation review, finally set up a comprehensive Pervasive Environment for conferences. This system is running on the mobile client (mobile phone) and the web server. In the mobile client, we use J2ME and KXML2, while in the web server we adopt SSH lightweight framework, using JSP, JDBC and XML.
