Abstract :
Multi-target detection for pulsed Doppler radars under land/moving clutter characterized by antenna scanning modulation is analyzed using linear prediction based Tufts-Kumaresan´s method. Comparison between this method and other line spectra estimation algorithms such as MUSIC and ESPRIT is performed. A technique to determine the model order required by the frequency estimation algorithms, which does not distinguish between targets and clutter, is presented. The clutter region concept is then introduced to identify targets from the clutter.
