Abstract :
To improve the efficiency and high quality service of the logistic companies, a GIS-based logistics information system is designed and implemented by this paper. Firstly, it analyzes the requirements of the logistics management information system established on the GIS platform. The system realizes the application service by the architecture of B/S (Browser/Server) structure. Then the database design, the module and function design about the system are discussed in the paper. This framework in the practical application has made impressive result, and was provided as an effective one.
