  • Abstract
    A 2-dimensional finite element frequency domain formula is applied to the full-wave simulation of parallel plate field domain. A special meshing technology is adopted to identify and mesh the field domains that are the common area between the metal shapes on different metal layers. At last, a method to account for the inter-plate coupling at low frequencies and the associated meshing technique are presented
