Abstract
Summary form only given. In high power laser devices, one of the major concern deals with the damage threshold of the optical components. The laser induced damage threshold (LIDT) of the coatings is usually the limiting factor of such devices. The paper discusses the key points in the deposition process to achieve high performance components in term of LIDT.
