Abstract :
The success of the Semantic Web mainly depends on huge amounts of RDF. However, the majority of data in legacy system are stored and managed in relational databases; the representation of data from relational database to RDF is a great opportunity. We have proposed an approach of transparently exposing legacy relational databases as virtual RDF graph. This RDF graph is dynamically and automatically generated according the user´s query requirements. The most advantages of this approach are assuring data consistency between relational databases and RDF and saving storage space. Through experiments, this approach is a feasible solution.
