Abstract :
A method for computing the bit error probability of non-coherent detection of binary DPSK and FSK signals over Nakagami asymptotically slow fading channels with diversity reception is presented to extend previously published results. These published results apply only to coherent and differentially coherent combining where phase coherency is necessary. The results for post-detection combining are derived with the explicit expressions for the most practical cases of independent channels and particular cases of correlated channels
