Abstract :
In this paper, we report successful memorization of an arbitrary bit of a PRBS data signal of up to 26-l bits at 20-Gb/s and each bit of 6-bit NRZ signals at 40 Gb/s [4]. These are the fastest operations of optical bistable flipflop memories to the best of our knowledge.
