    This article introduces the design and realization of intelligent data collecting and processing system for the low consuming of fuel for railway locomotives, emphasizes on live temperature data collecting between upper machine and lower machine, statistic of automatic energy saving, intelligent and dynamic management of fuel and the realization of long-distance data transmission. This system imposes combined controlling idea, adopts grading control and management, fully uses new technologies such as computer technology, communication technology and controlling technology and so on, realized functional and physical decentralization, improved the security of the system.
