Abstract :
We designed a compact electron storage ring system which gives an X-ray photon density of 1010 photons/mm2/sec at 33 keV for the K-edge subtraction method using a two-dimensional imaging system. We adopted a beam energy of 1.75 GeV, a maximum field for the superconducting wigglers of 8.3 Tesla, a stored current higher than 800 mA and a low energy injection system. A ring system with a circumference of about 60 m is feasible
