Abstract
The best arrange way of the heating hotwires and the detection hotwires with three wires structure was achieved on the gas pendulum tilt sensor. Using the finite element method, according to the actual size, building an entity model, the finite element simulation was conducted by a series of procedures, such as meshing, applying loads and solving. Then the fluid field distribution in the sensitive element was calculated in the different incline states. The results are as follow: (1) If β (β is an angle between horizontal and plane with the two hotwires) is changed, both the temperature field and flow field will also change. (2) The airflow velocity difference Δv at both the detection hotwires and tilt-angle relation curve will change with β. When β=0°, the linearity range is narrowest and slope is lowest; when β=30°, the linearity is best, and slope is larger; When β=60°, the linearity range is narrower and the slope is largest. (3) When β=0°, sensor´s linearity range is narrowest and sensitivity is lowest; When 4072554=30°, sensor´s linearity is best and sensitivity is higher; When β=60°, the linearity range is narrower and sensitivity is highest. Therefore, the best scheme is β=30° with the comprehensive comparison.
