Abstract
With the constantly advance of IT in education, the interactive learning based on social software carries an important influence on personalized learning, independent learning and collaborative learning. Constructivist learning theory has laid a theoretical foundation for the interactive learning based on social software. The paper discusses the meanings, characteristics, classifications on the social software, interactive learning as well as the interactive learning based on social software by use of the methods of the literature research, interviews, and then elaborates the role that the social software play in promoting the interactive learning. It also analyses the forms of the interactive learning based on social software by taking MSN, Blog, Wiki, Diigo and so on for example. Then, it summarizes the existing problems from the viewpoint of the knowledge & skills and the awareness & capacity of learners and the information literacy of teachers. At last, it makes several recommendations to learners and teachers.
