Abstract
The design and construction of thin film, L- and S-Band octave bandwidth, varactor-tuned oscillators are described. A minimum power output of 10 mW was achieved from 1 to 2 GHz and from 2 to 4 GHz, and the overall performance is equal or superior to that of packaged component oscillators.
