Abstract :
A compact fiber Bragg grating with multiple micro-holes drilled by use of femtosecond laser micromachining is effectively used for simultaneous and independent refractive index and temperature sensing. A high sensitivity of 266.68dB/RIU is obtained in refractive index range between 1.390 and 1.446, with good linearity.
