Abstract
Based on empirical study from 2006 to 2010, this paper discusses cohesive subgroups characters of asynchronous cognitive interactive network in collaborative learning. The results of the study indicate that there are three typical clustering structures of faction member as umbrella, rake and whisker in asynchronous cognitive interactive network. Teachers and unit hosts exist in most factions and play a leading role. There are kinds of subgroups position relationships, such as primary, broker, sycophant, receiver and isolate. With the improvement of collaborative learning design and gradually adapt to interactive way, interactions among learners become more and more active and the structure of asynchronous interaction community gets more and more simplified.
