Abstract
We propose a simple and effective linearization technique based on low frequency signal injections. The improvement of the third-order intermodulation product (IMD3) performance is obtained by feeding the baseband signals, generated by the baseband generation circuit, to the amplifier through the input and output biasing circuitries. With the addition of the low-frequency signals at both input and output of the amplifier, 43 dB improvement on the third-order intermodulation distortion has been achieved at 1-dB compression point in the two-tone test.
