After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

Roadway side of coal pillar for the isolation and maintenance of gob roadway, the pillar is the main supporting role, the pillar on the roof rock deformation and failure of the control law has a great influence. The comprehensive analysis of gob-side small pillar of the mechanical condition and failure mechanism, we reached the edge of coal to balance the stress limit at any point of stress and yield zone width calculation. This is the follow-up study, by strengthening the support to improve the extent of the damage of coal pillar, pillar to maintain the stability of small coal pillar width rationally determine the methods, and provide a theoretical basis.
