The development of micro-grid and energy storage devices are inseparable, without energy storage devices, micro-grid will not be able to run stablely, the paper reviews the principle of SMES devices and the main circuit topology, ultimately the cascaded H-bridge topology is adopted .Simulation and analysis is carried out, and the results show that the device active and reactive power can be well compensated. The efectiveness of the topology and control strategies are verified.
