Abstract
An experimental array testbed constructed at the University of Minnesota is described. The system consists of a linear array of eight ultrasonic transducers and several transmitters operating at 40 KHz in air. The characteristics of the system and its calibration are described. Examples of the performances of several high-resolution direction-finding algorithms are shown
