Abstract :
Teaching resources are very important to the people who are studying from the learning web. However, there are some semantic ambiguities between expressions of these resources which are stored in different systems. In order to reduce these ambiguities and share teaching resource to all users, a Teaching Resource Ontology model (TROM) based on SUMO was constructed in this paper, and relations among all component were represented in the model. Then five key Ontology elements of the TROM were described, such as concepts, relations, functions, axioms and instances. Finally, an experiment was given in which a semantic query model based Description Language could be used to search teaching information in semantic level. It shown that teaching resource could be integrated very well using TROM.
