  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new structure is proposed to implement dual-band SIW slot array omni-directional antennas. The desired radiation patterns of the two bands can be almost achieved independently due to the weak coupling between the slots for different frequency bands. A dual-band omni-directional antenna for 2.4GHz and 3.5GHz is designed and fabricated on a low loss dielectric substrate with normal printed circuit board (PCB) process, the measured results show that moderate impedance bandwidths and good omni-directional radiation patterns at both bands are achieved.
