  • Abstract
    In this paper, an improved viterbi equalization algorithm based on the soft-output viterbi equalization algorithm will be provided. The improved algorithm possesses the better performance in the environment of low SNR.Finally, this paper will afford the result of the simulation of comparing to the hard decision viterbi equalization and soft-output viterbi equalization.The results reveal that the improved viterbi equalization algorithm can eliminate the problem of the inter-symbol interference effectively.
