Abstract
The chaotic characteristics of power system daily load sequence in the certain city is analyzed and calculated based on saturated correlation dimension method, it give a conclusion that power load time series belongs to chaotic series. Short-term power load forecasting is accomplished by using local linear prediction method based on phase space reconstruction theory. The prediction results show that the prediction method has high prediction accuracy and conformity rate.
