Abstract :
In seismic acquisition if regular linear scanning signal is used for the vibroseis, seismic response will show large sidelobes and the resolution for the seismic response will be low, if using dualistic pseudorandom code as scanning signal for the vibroseis, the severe noise will be generated in seismic response section and the signal-to-noise ratio will be decreased. In this paper the ternary pseudo random series with ideal correlation characteristics was used to design vibroseis signal coding. The impact of primitive polynomial´s order and carrier frequency to tenary pseudo-random scanning signal autocorrelation was established, The ternary pseudo-random scanning signal with different order and carrier frequency is designed by VHDL. That provided a theoretical basis and implementation to improve the signal-to-noise and distinguishability of scanning signal in seismic exploration.
