Abstract :
The bandwidths of two aperture stacked patch antennas have been combined successfully into a single large bandwidth using microwave photonic techniques. The antenna system produces a 10 dB return loss bandwidth of approximately 105 % with average gain level of 5 dBi and amplitude variation of plusmn1.5 dB. Radiation analysis shows the level of interaction of the two antennas according to their relative position.
