Abstract :
This work presents the study of a three level DC-DC resonant buck converter with boost active clamping, soft switching (ZVS - Zero Voltage Switching) and constant frequency PWM (pulse width modulation). The main advantages of this topology are high efficiency and lower voltage stress on the switches when compared to buck converters with two level boost clamping.
